The Voice Pal introduces itself with a name (you pick it). Most callers don't notice; the ones who do tell us it sounds more natural than the average phone tree. We never claim to be human — we just sound like a competent, friendly receptionist.

Do I need to change my phone number?

No. You keep your existing number with your existing carrier. We set up call forwarding with a five-minute star code on your phone — calls forward to The Voice Pal when you're busy or after hours. You can disable forwarding any time you want to take calls yourself.

What happens if the AI can't handle a call?

The Voice Pal takes a message and texts you the transcript with the caller's number within 30 seconds. For urgent calls (price disputes, complaints, emergencies), it can also live-transfer to your cell phone — your choice.

How long does setup take?

About 30 minutes total. Five for call forwarding, ten to upload your service list and rules, fifteen for our team to test calls with you and tune the voice. Most businesses are live the same day they sign up.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No annual contracts, no termination fees. Cancel from your dashboard and forwarding turns off automatically. We'll email your full call history as a CSV so you keep your data.
